God’s mark is omnipotent. In the place I call “third dimension drawing surfaces” I see images that are pre drawn or punched or established by The Almighty Master Artist. If you look at my vellum images you will see what I refer to. First a story…..

This month my reckless moving forward in a fast and steady pace caused me to literally stumple over myself, twice. 21 stitches. Two separate occasions, two separate locations on my left leg. All brought on by my own stubborn pride. I refer to myself as a very independent person. However, this can often be mistaken for pure dumb pride.

Not asking for help to carry heavy loads of art supplies were my demise. The humiliating aspect was sitting in that Urgent care hoping the same doctor who stitched me up a month ago would not walk through that door. Humility is a not so funny thing. Thus in he walked.

“Did I stitch you up a month ago Ms Sheets.? “Yes, you did. And feel free to call me Patti since it seems you are to be my official stitch artist.” I pointed to my tatoos as comparison.

While making a serious effort to change my careless ways, I slowed down to take days to just look deep into the organic surfaces of His studio. God’s art, to me, has a third dimension. His personal canvas is not paper or prefab materials. His are sheep or goat vellum, clay, the clouds, rocks and yes even crab shells from The Hood Canal in Silverdale Washington. Referred to as WOLF crabs (you can see the image of a wolf behind the wings), His imprint was the wolf, I wanted to search for additional images.

I moved slow and discovered the beauty in these shells. This is what I saw in the symmetry of His charming perfection. A Pacific Northwest elk and wings of an angel. Thank You My Father for yet another dimension of your untainted and perfect character.
